Harvey Events put on the first annual FroRibbeanfest at Central Park in Atlanta and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember! If you missed out on the good vybez the first time, you’re in luck because the next one will be September 28th 2019. Here’s recap and everything you need to know from last years event including ways win free tickets:
MUSIC VYBEZ
It is the ultimate music festival for dance hall, afro beat, soca, calypso, hip hop and more. There’s a little bit of everything for everyone to enjoy! One minute you’re swag surfing and the next, your gonna palance, #balance. I don’t even remember sitting down once the music started going. There were several artist that blessed the stage including: Bunji Garlin, Alkaline, Tiwa Savage, DJ Envy, DJ Ecool, FABO, Diamond from crime mob and more.

WEAR YOUR HAIR AS YOU DARE
Finally, there’s an event dedicated for everyone to get crazy with their hairstyle. The wilder your style, the better. What do we want to see: More color! More accessories! And larger fros!
BYOB
Bring Your Own Bottle and Be Your Own Bartender! This might be my favorite part of the event. The best fetes are the ones where you don’t have to wait on long lines for drinks-only to finish the drink before you make it back to the crowd. Pack your cooler and sip on everything you love. Food and drink vendors are available on site. Note: This event asks patrons to bring plastic bottles only, so try to transfer before arriving.
There are also plenty of food and shopping vendors that are easily accessible while you’re at the event.
